I believe that the purpose of Technology is to enable business.  One of the most significant roles of a Senior Technology Leader is to serve as a strategic partner with each line of business within the organization.  Ensuring that the technology that they use is properly aligned with the business requirements.

 

I believe in collaboration and transparency.  Successful Technology Organizations must be able to “tell the IT story”- the good and the not so good.   I approach this through developing and sharing thorough Key Metrics/Key Performance Indicators in  presentation and dashboard formats.

 

I also firmly believe in cost containment and maximizing value.  Thus, I always attempt to maximize the service delivered given the desired cost.
